Jornalista, 42 anos, é professor de jornalismo e assessor de imprensa. Trabalhou em vários órgãos da imprensa brasileira, como Jornal do Brasil, Folha de S.Paulo, Zero Hora, Correio Braziliense e O Globo.
Em 1996, ganhou o “Grande Prêmio Folha de Jornalismo”, pelas reportagens no caderno “Eleições S/A”, revelando com exclusividade o quem-foi-quem no jogo dos financiamentos das campanhas eleitorais de 1994.
Em 2001, ganhou o Grande Prêmio CNT de Jornalismo, pela série de reportagens publicadas no Correio Braziliense sobre as fraudes com os precatórios do DNER.

You have often written about themes related to the following story so I thought it might be interesting to you. In fact I’m sure you will know all about this anyway but here is some background anyway.
‘Hakani’ is a film produced by the American fundamentalist missionary organisation Youth With a Mission.
It claims to be the ‘true story’ of a Brazilian Indian child called Hakani who was supposedly buried alive by her tribe, the Suruwaha.
In fact, the film was faked – and even the missionaries who produced it ‘admit there is no way to verify what they say happened‘.
It’s propaganda to bolster the evangelical campaign for a very dangerous principle, the so-called Muwaji law, which has been presented to the Brazilian Congress.
The Muwaji law focuses on what it calls ‘traditional practices’ and says what the state and citizens must do about them. It says that if anyone thinks there is a risk of ‘harmful traditional practices’, they must report it.
If they don’t, they are liable to imprisonment. The authorities must intervene and remove the children and/or their parents. All this because someone, anyone, a missionary for example, claims there is some risk.
This film and the movement behind it have taken an unproven example of a rare practice, infanticide, to justify intervention in tribal communities.
The issue is at a critical point as public debate in Brazil and the USA intensifies.

Análise muito boa.
Ocorre que a grande mídia monopolista partidarizada perdeu o tino e o senso do ridículo.
Convertida que foi aos cânones do neoliberalismo e consenso de Washington pela trupe de FHC, não passam recibo da falência de sua crença com a atual crise economica mundial e agora querem ser mais realistas que o Rei, pois ao invés de apenas apoiarem os neocons brasileiros, passam agora a lhes dar pitos em público e chamá-los de lenientes e molengas com as ações do Presidente Lula, tentando lhes dar a direção da ação política.
Finalizando, por acaso V.Sa. é da excelente turma do Professor Hariovaldo Prado? Se for, parabéns pela fina ironia daquele blog político.
